Terms of Service
Effective date: May 5, 2026
These terms describe the basic conditions for using Quill, an open-source macOS dictation app.
Use of Quill
Quill is provided as-is. You are responsible for how you use the app, the content you dictate or transform, and the third-party providers you configure.
Third-party services
Quill may rely on third-party transcription, AI, or Google APIs when you configure those integrations. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, costs, and availability. Quill does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy of third-party APIs.
Google Calendar integration
Google Calendar integration is optional and read-only. Quill uses it to suggest note titles from events that overlap a recording. Quill does not create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events.
Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it before connecting Google Calendar or configuring third-party providers.
Open-source license
Quill source code is available under the MIT License. The source repository and license are available at github.com/woosublee/freeflow.
No warranty
Quill is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project maintainers are not liable for losses or damages arising from use of the app or third-party services configured with the app.
